Live aboard diving/snorkelling
There is so much to see on the Great Barrier Reef that you may want to extend your diving stay for a few days. There are many live aboard dive and snorkel trips operating out of Cairns, visiting some of the most remote and beautiful parts of the reef. Local Cairns live aboard trips generally access reef locations such Norman, Saxon, Thetford, Moore and Flynn just to name a few. If you have the time to spend at least 3-4 nights at the Great Barrier Reef then you can travel onboard Spirit of Freedom to the amazing Cod Hole, Northern Ribbon Reefs and Osprey Reef (Coral Sea Shark Diving) for some of the most spectacular diving our region has to offer.

Spirit of Freedom: 3 Day/3 Night Cod Hole & Ribbon Reefs
Join Spirit of Freedom to dive the world famous Cod Hole and Ribbon Reefs. On board this elegant 37m motor cruiser you will enjoy gourmet meals, spacious cabins with private bathrooms, and three decks of comfortable living areas. You will travel 240km along rarely visited reefs, encounter a family of giant potato cod, clouds of colourful tropical fish and pristine coral gardens, before finishing with a scenic reef flight from Lizard Island.

Join Spirit of Freedom to dive Australia’s Coral Sea. A must for the adventurous diver, this tour travels 230km off the coast to dive the remote Osprey Reef. Vagabond
Vagabond is a 65' luxury world cruising yacht set up for comfortable snorkelling, diving, sailing and entertaining for a maximum of 11 guests with a large aft deck for scuba divers to set up their equipment. We will show you the exotic wonders of the reef. For those who prefer not to dive, snorkelling offers some fantastic sights. All diving equipment and instructors are available for first time divers with your saftey and enjoyment being our priority. Certified divers can enjoy the reef and tropical fish life at their leisure as we visit exclusive dive sites . Drift dives, night dives and swim throughs are available. Vagabond specialises in 2 day diving trips leaving Cairns every Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.
