Rainforest after dark
Specialised wildlife tours

Wildlife Mountain Safari - 5pm until midnight

The ultimate eco-experience. This small group world famous adventure concentrates on the unique, rare and endangered wildlife of the tropical rainforest. First visit our private rainforest sanctuary where we may catch a glimpse of the elusive Cassowary, Musky Rat Kangaroo and Pademelon, before enjoying a delicious BBQ dinner deep in the rainforest.

In a fully equipped off-road vehicle our search will take us off the beaten track through typical Australian eucalypt country - home to Platypus, Kangaroos, Curlews and Quolls. As we climb remote World Heritage highland refuge areas we discover even more endangered creatures of the night such as Green, Lemuroid and Herbert River Possums, Tree Kangaroos, Bettongs and Gliders - Frogs, Reptiles, Owls and much more. After supper and stargazing we return to reality and your accommodation around 1am. This safari is essential for the serious wildlife enthusiast.
