Our rainforest safaris through the lush areas south of Cairns are relaxing sightseeing tours suitable for all ages. Experienced naturalist guides lead you on interesting walks through untouched wilderness free of human development. We take you swimming in gentle, glistening rock pools - the type you see in postcards. Wooroonooran National Park is located away from the beaten tourist tracks so you can revitalise yourself in tranquil rainforest settings. You won't find bus loads of guided tourists here - just the trees, the small rainforest animals, the cool breeze and a small group of friends. In addition to the educational first-hand rainforest tour, we also include fun activities you may never have experienced before. You will spend 6 entertaining hours outside your tour vehicle in the diverse locations including Josephine Falls, a secluded freshwater swimming hole hidden in the tropical rainforest, Babinda Boulders, a spectacular gorge and listen to the ancient Aboriginal legend about the creation of the Boulders. Snorkel and swim in a freshwater pool (masks and snorkels provided). At Johnstone River Crocodile Farm cuddle a crocodile and witness an amazing crocodile feeding show. On the Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walkway experience one of Australia's grandest man-made structures in a natural environment. With its combination of a canopy walk high in the tree tops, an observation tower, viewing decks and cantilever, it brings you close to new unexplored spheres of the rainforest.
