Tjapukai is dedicated to preserving and presenting authentic Aboriginal culture with the aid of modern technology. Four theatres, a museum, an art gallery and a traditional Aboriginal camp combine to give visitors a complete and meaningful glimpse of a rich and ancient culture.

Cultural Creations - Boomerang painting, Islander Weaving and Jewellery Making

Learn the art of weaving, paint a boomerang and craft rainforest style jewellery while meeting talented local artists.  At the end, take home three unforgetable souveniers.

Indigenous Guided Bush Food Trail
The trail will take you on a journey through the Tjapukai Parklands showing you bush foods, plants and trees that have culinary and medicinal significance. At the end of journey enjoy billy tea and damper with native fruit jams, as you relax lakeside and enjoy insightful talk with your guide.
