Indigenous people have inhabited Australia for over 40,000 years. Theirs is a rich and vibrant culture, shaped by country, place, weather, flora and fauna. Their story is a rich tapestry of legends, endurance and a harmony with their surrounds. 2 Day Package - Michaelmas Cay & Daintree Dreaming (OSpirit)

The 2 day package includes a full day visiting Michaelmas Cay at the Great Barrier Reef.  Your day includes 4 hours at the sand cay, morning tea, hot and cold buffet lunch, snorkelling equipment and instruction, Marine Biologist presentation, semi-submersible coral viewing tour, fish feeding presentation, lycra suits and a glass of sparkling wine served on the homeward journey with cheese and crackers.

On another full day you will experience Daintree Dreaming. This unique day tour learning of our area's rich Aboriginal history and culture, combined with the oldest living rainforest on the planet and the spectacular Mossman Gorge.  Your day will include learning how to hunt and spear for crabs and walk through mangroves to collect shellfish by the Walker Brothers.  They will then invite you back to their home to enjoy morning tea, whilst the more adventurous try some of the mornings catch.  A visit to the Janbal Aboriginal Art Gallery to view the artwork and also create your ówn masterpice.  From here you will visit Mossman Gorge Centre to have lunch and there is also time to go for a swim.  (This tour only operates on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday).
